Welcome!

Welcome to Long Ridge United Methodist Church. Our historical protestant church is located where Danbury, Bethel, Redding and Ridgefield all converge in upper Fairfield County, Connecticut.

We are a small church in the woods that houses a friendly church family dedicated to worship and sharing our spritual lives and loving together. We are devoted to keep active children’s programs, music programs and an array of missions and ministries. We pray together that our church will reflect Jesus’ love and our devotion to his message of forgiveness, generous service and the Holy Spirit.

Some of each service is deeply moving, honoring the sacred mystery of Christ. Some is fun, enjoying the love and laughter that we enjoy sharing. Some brings us to appreciate beauty of nature and music and children’s worlds while other parts of the service challenge us to intellectual truth and discipleship.
We invite you to join us either for our Sunday service or for any of our classes, events or groups. Please don’t hesitate to call or drop by.
